As the UI designer responsible for the tech tree, working closely with the game designer the goal was to design a feature that appears endless. Among other things, effects and buildings can be unlocked in the tech tree. Therefore, it was important to us that players could freely explore these possibilities. A free-flowing design was chosen that captures and visually supports the size and quantity of the tech tree.
